My husband and I moved to the Yosemite foothills several years ago and were at once able to breathe, physically and spiritually. We started backyard beekeeping soon after and have been amazed and delighted with the culture, gifts, and habits of bees. After retirement and with more time available, we have both begun creating gifts from the earth in the form of herbal remedies and gifts, wood projects, and beeswax candles.
